Dennis Eriksson

Dennis Eriksson was born in Luleå. He moved to Stockholm in 1993 when, as a 19-year-old (!), he was admitted to Konstfack, Graphic Design & Illustration, directly from the tundra to Gärdet in Stockholm. He is currently based in New York.

Dennis' line drawing style is influenced by American, French, and Italian adult/experimental comics from the 70s and 80s, pulp aesthetics, fine painting, and exciting environments. Dennis has an uncanny ability to capture the energy and attitude of the moment in his characters and compositions. Details and subtle designs add a dimension of storytelling, humor, movement, and dynamism. He says it has to be nice but still a little ugly.
